On this project, we installed a premium in-roof solar PV system using a traditional lead flashing kit, rather than the commonly supplied Flexalu plastic flashing system.
While Flexalu can provide a weatherproof solution when installed correctly, we chose a lead flashing detail to deliver a cleaner finish, greater durability and a more robust long-term installation.

Unlike plastic Flexalu skirts, lead flashing provides:
